Lisa has been involved in Children’s Ministries for over 10 years. She joined the New Venture Church staff as the Kidventure Director.  Along with her family, Lisa has been attending NVC since early 2008.  She has been married to her wonderful husband Jared for 11 years. They have three boys: Jared Jr., Michael and Stephen. They home school and thoroughly enjoy the time they spend together as a family.  In their free time, the Guy family enjoys football and being outdoors, swimming, and being with their extended family.

Lisa was born in raised in Titusville, and truly loves it here. In 1999, Lisa moved away for Jared’s Navy enlistment.  It was during that time that Lisa truly began to pursue a relationship with Christ and became involved in Ministry with children.  After working in nursery for a couple of years, Lisa branched into Pre-K/K where she began to see the difference that can be made in a child’s life by loving and encouraging them.  During this time, Lisa had the privilege of being mentored by women who believed in the value and necessity of spiritually discipling children at a young age.  Under their teaching and through God’s word, Lisa began to realize that teaching children is one of the highest callings that God places upon a person.

Lisa learned that no matter how young a child is, they are a valuable and indispensable part of the Body of Christ.  She has also learned more than she could ever imagine and feels more blessed each and every day to have the awesome opportunity to be a part of the lives of the youngest members at New Venture Church.
