Scooter Morrison

 ASSOCIATE PASTOR








Pastor Royce "Scooter" Morrison was born in Dothan, Alabama in 1976 and moved to Titusville at a young age.  His family has been in Titusville since the early 50's.  Pastor Scooter is very involved in the community as a volunteer.  He has worked with the YMCA, Mims Little League, Indian River City Little League, Upward Basketball, and other organizations for children.

He has been married to his wife Dawn since 2005 and has one daughter, Bailey who is age 9.  He and Dawn have known each other for over 25 years.  He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, traveling, and meeting new people.  Pastor  Scooter also loves sports, he is a veteran sports official.  He is the President and Owner of American Sports Officials, Inc.  A company that recruits, trains, and schedules sports officials to various sports in the Central Florida area.  He is an NCAA baseball umpire as well as a High School and semi-pro football referee.  Pastor Scooter began his officiating career at age 15 at Indian River City Little League, in Titusville.

Pastor Scooter was baptized at age 12 at Victory Baptist Church in Port St. John, FL.  After high school he moved to Walton County Florida where he re-committed his life to Christ and served at Bruce Assembly of God as Elder, Worship Leader, and Youth Leader.  Pastor Scooter served in 2 other churches as Elder, and Pastor.  He was ordained in October 2002.

Pastor Scooter has over 10 years of ministry experience.  He has been a member of New Venture Church since June 2007 and started volunteering his time within the church.  He became the Associate Pastor for New Venture Church in August 2007. Pastor Scooter has served as leader of many areas of ministry including Outreach Director, Kidventure, First Impressions, Worship, Production, Events, Pastoral Care, Assimilation and Preaching.  Pastor Scooter and his family have been instrumental in the growth and success of New Venture Church. He has a calling to Pastoral Care, Prayer, Evangelism, and Teaching.  He is dedicated to Gods plan for this church and loves seeing people come to know Jesus!
